Noah MacLean
I am a public relations professional from Sydney, N.S. but currently call Halifax, N.S., home. An award winning community leader, I have deep roots in public relations with expertise in event planning, social media, writing, photography, graphic design, media relations and consulting. I look to use my ‘no rain, no flowers’ approach to life as motivation to become a leader in the public relations industry and help guide others towards success.

Summary of Skills
While having simultaneously balanced school, two jobs, volunteering, and my role as a sprinter on the varsity men’s track and field team for Cape Breton University, I developed a work ethic over the past few years that has given me many tools in my toolbelt. Possessing skills like multi-tasking responsibilities, consultation, organizational, and leadership skills, I have a bright and adaptive mind flooding with ideas, with an ability to put a creative spin, or new perspective on just about anything. Paired with my sound critical thinking skills and a knack for problem solving, my versatility allows me to thrive in nearly any situation.

Experience
I have a strong background in event planning, social media, writing, photography, graphic design, and volunteerism. This experience, along with my Graduate Certificate in Public Relations and Bachelor of Arts & Community Studies degree, has helped me foster a breadth of skills and knowledge applicable to work in public relations and communications. Anyone who has worked with me can attest to my work ethic and ability to juggle responsibilities.

From being named a two-time U Sports Academic All-Canadian to being named the unanimous winner of the George Leith Community Studies Award at CBU, I have made an impact in my hometown of Sydney N.S. and look bring this same 'unstoppable' attitude to the mainland whilst making a splash in the public relations industry.

Passions
I am a deeply passionate person and a ENFJ-T personality type. I have a magnetic enthusiasm for sport & physically active living that keeps me active and involved in the sports world, a dedication to preserving & protecting the environment, and an eye for business, with experience in all three. I am a licensed Drone Pilot through Transport Canada and have had a love for photography and videography since I was a kid.
