Experience

Producing large-scale thesis papers, marketing proposals, communication plans, feature stories, and even taking a personal interest in creative writing like poetry, short stories, and journaling, my versatility as a writer can be attributed not only to my academic experience, but to my wide range of passions and interests.

I have experience writing a variety of communications tools and have created everything from an original Indigenous land acknowledgement to website copy to a media statement during a real crisis. I collaborated with a colleague in the production of strategic communications plan on behalf of the Nova Scotia Nature Trust. I also wrote a news release for ESG Partners Inc. for their big win at the 2023 Halifax Business Awards.

With experience in interviewing from my undergrad focusing on community studies at Cape Breton University, my journalistic skills and charismatic personality allow me to not only create a comfortable, creative space to converse, but to also reciprocate this energy through my writing.
