Experience

While holding social media positions, I ventured into graphic design to experiment with designs and create eye-catching promotional graphics for programming events. At NSCC, I furthered my skills becoming familiar with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, and InDesign.

Public Relations

I have been able to practice and implement my graphic design skills in a public relations context creating designs for news releases, profile stories, and even designed the entirety of two issues of the NSCC student body newsletter that were published in print and digitally.

Branding

My ability to take an idea and bring it to fruition is not only evident in my programming experience, but also through branding. I have built brand personality from scratch for programs like ‘CBRM Engage’ and ‘CBRM En Vert’ and helped local baseball club RBI Baseball’s brand find their footing using platforms like Canva, CapCut, and Adobe.

Content Creation

Along with branding, I have been able to produce promotional graphics used for social media, handout flyers, and posters while creating brand consistency throughout designs. As a volunteer, I even had the opportunity to film and edit a social media commercial using Adobe Lightroom and CapCut to process the footage and add an overlay for the logo.
